How to Use the EPF Calculator
Get a clear projection of your retirement savings in a few simple steps:

- Set Contribution & Growth: We've pre-filled the standard employee (12%) and employer (3.67%) contribution rates. You can add an extra contribution percentage under VPF. Also, add your expected annual salary increase and the current EPF interest rate.

Understanding EPF Contributions
The EPF scheme is a joint effort between you and your employer. Here's how it works:
- Employee's Contribution: You contribute a mandatory 12% of your basic salary plus dearness allowance. You can choose to contribute more through the Voluntary Provident Fund (VPF).
- Employer's Contribution: Your employer also contributes 12%. This is split into two parts: 8.33% goes to the Employee Pension Scheme (EPS) (up to a wage ceiling), and the remaining **3.67%** goes to your EPF account. Our calculator uses the 3.67% that directly builds your corpus.
